‘Churchill painted to relax, but not me! I only undertake a painting when I need something specific for a room.’
I don’t like to think about it, but the day may come when these bikes are parked for the last time. I love their colour, and their link to a quieter Britain. Weybridge, Surrey.
When I rode my neighbour’s old bicycle through these trees one spring, the cherry blossoms coated the wheels.
A most pleasant spot in Weybridge: the Minnow pub; the boats docked; the Thames path for walkers and cyclists.
Not quite finished, but posted anyway…still some corrections to be made after scanning. But I can’t let summer pass without honouring Wimbledon strawberries and rowing at Henley!
